Better Days Agency is dba of sole proprietor Jon E. Forbis.  Jon has  25+ years of experience working directly with enterprise brands, small to medium sized businesses and startups, music & entertainment, public sector, & retail merchandising.  His experience spans the realm of advertising, data driven content marketing, publicity/public relations, and ALL THINGS communications.

The mission at Better Days Agency is simple: Your success! Better Days offers more than exceptional creative.  The process is more than offering front end promises using buzz statements like “marketing, social, PPC/Ads/etc, AI Generative…and so on.”  Better Days Agency means strategy, return, growth, & long term vision.

Experience Counts

Before launching Better Days Agency, Jon worked as a contract consultant for various technology firms and creative/PR agencies in NYC & Silicon Valley.  In recent years, he served as Dir. Of Communications for a central Florida-based advanced radiography imaging company, in which he was liaison with NASA Public Affairs, CASIS, USAEC, Indiana University School of Medicine, and other key stakeholders on an advanced study directed at bone healing aboard the International Space Station.  He was instrumental in driving awareness of technology and related studies, with research ultimately being used to develop advanced treatments for wounded members of the United States Armed Forces. 

In previous years, Jon worked in Executive Communications at McAfee, Inc. where he led efforts to position C-Suite executives as industry thought leaders.  Outlets included, TED, RSA, The World Economic Forum, and frequent appearances on CNBC’s Squawk Box and Fox Business.  Jon was part of the communications team during McAfee’s $500M acquisition of Secure Computing, the Security Innovation Alliance (and integration into the Defense Information Systems Agency’s cybersecurity solutions),  and the subsequent purchase of McAfee by microprocessor giant Intel.

In recent years, Jon pivoted and ramped up efforts as a publicist and entertainment communications expert working with notable figures in music & entertainment.  His clients include musicians producing music licensed by the world-famous Chicago Bulls and he has worked on creating cross-functional branding programs with multiple Academy Award winners.

Jon is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during Desert Storm and Shield.  He holds a BS in Visual Communications from Westwood College.
